By MISS ELLA MOR LOCK CREDITON Easter services at Zion United Church began with a Good Friday service, the pastor, Rev. Douglas Warren, presenting a message on The Cross. Sunday morning there was a Sunrise Service in charge of the young people. Paul Fydenchuk and Ron Bowers led the service; Bruce Hodge, Wally Fydenchuk, Rick Bowers and Perry Presz- cator were ushers. Eight girls sang a choir number, and Gwen and Debbie Finkbeiner sang, with their mother accompanying them. Guest speaker was Gerald McAuley, teacher at the high school, Exeter. He spoke on The Risen Lord. Breakfast was served following the service, For the regular morning service Mr. Warren preached on Resurrection Life, Special music was provided by the choir. Monday evening the young people attended the Faith and Life Crusade at Zurich. Mr. & Mrs. Frank Parker, London, were Good Friday guests of Rev. & Mrs, Douglas Warren. This week their guest is Rev. James Somerville, Chatham, speaker at the Faith and Life Crusade. Sunday evening Rev. Armin Schlenker conducted the service at the Bluewater Rest Home, his theme The Good Shepherd. Mrs. Moses Faist Mrs. Moses Faist, who was living at the Bluewater Rest Home, died suddenly Monday while visiting her son Lewis in Kitchener. The funeral service was held Wednesday at the R. C. Dinney Funeral Home, with interment in the Crediton Cemetery. Mrs. Faist was Crediton T-A correspondent for many years. Pallbearers were Harold Wolfe, Claire Swartz, Don and Carman Roeszler, Gerald Smith and Gordon Ratz.
