held their 6th 4-H meeting aty the
home of their leader Mrs.
Spencer Jeffery Thursday af-
ternoon with 12 girls present.
The leaders taught the girls
bow to do the Italian her11,-
stitching and helped them with
any problems they were having
with their bedspreads, runners
and throw cushions.

Orpha Club
Orpha Club ladies met Tuesday
evening at the home of Mrs. Ed
Gill.
During the business period it
was decided to display the work
the ladies are doing for the
Children's Aid Sarnia for Easter.
April 25, at the home of Mrs.
Wallie Desjardine. All articles
will be packed ready to be picked
up by one of the Social workers at
the close of this meeting.
It was also decided to send a
donation to "Bunny Bundle."
Following the business for a bit
of entertainment the members
enjoyed a contest and several
poems were read. Lunch was
served to close the meeting.

Saints" were successful last
Friday night in defeating Kettle
Point by a one goal victory.
Grand Bend 5- Kettle Point 4.
With three minutes left to play,
Larry Lovie scored the winning
goal for Grand Bend.

Barry Clarke, Dan Dalton and

Baptismal Sunday was ob-
served Sunday in the United
Church. The infant children of
Mr. & Mrs. Bob Hendrick, Mr. &
Mrs. Leroy Keyes and Mr. & Mrs.
A. Antippas were received into
the church by baptism.
Also during this service, the
Primary Sunday School was in
attendance at the front of the
church, They contributed to the
service with singing and finger
plays.
Laurie Baird assisted Rev.
Dobson by reading the new
testament lesson from Luke's
Gospel.
Pot Luck supper
The United Church
congregational ,pot luck supper
will take place April 5 in the
church. Guest speaker will be
Jini Helmuth of Ailsa Craig who
is affiliated with the "Missing
Piece Coffee House". A night of
entertainment is being planned.
There will be a time for singing, a
time for listening and a time for
seeing with pictures been shown.
All members of the congregation
and families are urged to come
and enjoy a Christian fellowship
one with the other.
