The evening message was one of a series from Revelations. Announcements were made for Good Friday Service at which communion will be served and for the Easter program presented by the Sunday School at 10:00. The regular worship service will be combined with the program. W.A. The Women's Auxiliary met Tuesday evening in the home of Mrs. Ernest Ferguson. Mrs. Howard Currie presided and was also in charge of the devotional which took the form of church doctrinal study. The lesson for this month was "The Nature and Work of the Holy Spirit." Each lady participated in Bible research. Visiting girls, Esther and Trudy Eizenga sang "Shepherd of Love." Lunch was served by the hostess. Anglican Church Sunday, a Service of Lessons and Hymns for Palm Sunday was held. The various lessons were read by Anne Stanley, Brenda Williamson, Nanci Lewis, Bill Carson, Bill Henderson, Sandra Avery, Dorothy Buridge and Brenda Haskett. McGuffin convener of Agriculture and Industries gave an interesting paper on the beginning of Agriculture and changes over the years. She pointed out how fortunate we should feel with our industries; we have everything. The convener concluded with motto "One touch of Nature makes the whole world akin," referring to the sun when it goes down it continues to shine on the rest of the world. Euchre Kirkton Women's Institute held a progressive euchre in Aberdeen Hall Monday evening with tables playing, Prize winners were: ladies high, Mrs. Eber Shute; lone hands, Mrs. Harry Webber; men's high, James Wilson; lone hands, Frank Lostell, The next euchre will be held in Aberdeen Hall, April 10.
