One of the most romantic of
salvation Army operations is on
behalf of missing persons. The
internationalism of the Salvation
Army provides a ready-made
network of help in locating those
who have, for one reason or an-
other, become "lost" to relatives
and friends. The searching hand
of the Salvation Army is thus
able to reach across oceans and
continents to "find the lost" and
a remarkable degree of success
has attended their efforts. Each
year in Canada, approximately
500 persons are "found."
