CLARKE KENNEDY In the Zurich arena last Friday night, Grand Bend Bantams eliminated Zurich in a 3-1 battle in the O.M.H.A. playoffs. No goals were scored byeither teams in the first two periods. Goals scored in the third period were by Stephen Jennison assisted by Mike Jackson; Cameron Haist assisted by Kevin Datars and Stephen Jennison scored another goal unassisted. Derek O'Brien scored the 1 goal for Zurich. Monday night the Bantams played Paisley on the 0,M.H.A. playoffs in Zurich Arena. It was a hard fought game with every Bantam playing their best. After an eight minute mark of overtime the only and winning goal was scored by Cameron Hoist assisted by Kevin Datars. The Bantams meet Paisley again Saturday. At Kirkland Lake Elizabeth Kennedy, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Clarke Kennedy, ' Grand Bend, is working in Kirkland Lake on a project to help establish recreation programs for the retarded. Elizabeth, a 20 year-old University of Waterloo student is on a four month working leave as part of the trimester system practiced at Waterloo. It is her job to establish and co- ordinate programs for the retarded that will be conducted by members of the community. 4-H The 4-H girls held their meeting Monday evening with 17 girls attending.
