IN MEMORIAM —
BULLOCK — In loving memory
of a dear husband, father and
grandfather Joseph Bullock
who was taken from us
suddenly seven years ago
January 26, 1965,
Time speeds on, seven years has
passed
Since death its gloom its shadow
cast
Within .our home where all
seemed bright
And took from us a shining
light,
We miss that light and always
will
His vacant place there's none to
fill
Down here we mourn but not in
vain
For up in Heaven we will meet
again.
— Lovingly remembered and
sadly missed by wife Vera,
daughter Helen, son-in-law
Edward and grandchildren
Sylvia, Nancy and Brian. 4c
COOPER — In loving memory of
a dear father Bruce Jonathan
Cooper, who passed away
four years ago January 27,
1968,
God gave me a precious father,
The dearest in all this world,
He fashioned his smile out of
sunshine,
And molded his heart of pure
gold.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
Because part of us went with
you,
The day God called you horiae.
So please, God take a message,
To our dear Dad up above,
And tell him that we miss him,
And give him all our love.
— Lovingly remembered and
sadly missed by his family
Lavona and Horace, Isabelle
and Russel, Alvin and Lillian.

STEEPER — In loving memory
of a dear son Stanley Albert,

But we still do not forget
For in our hearts who loved you
Fond memories linger yet.

STEINHAGEN —In loving
memory of my dear mother,
Clara Steinhagen, who passed
away twelve years ago,
January 25, 1960.
Time unfolds another year,
But memories keep her ever
near;
No need for words except to
,
Still loved, still missed in
every way.
— Always remembered by her
daughter Lulu. 4c
STEPHEN — In loving memory
of a dear brother and uncle
Laurie, who passed away

A year has swiftly passed away
But still we don't forget;
For in the hearts that loved you
best
Your memory lingers yet.

Dear Sir:
I am writing to tell people what
is going on in the South Huron
Hockey League. Dennis
Morrissey has been unfairly
voted out of the league for the
rest of the year by the executive
of the league. The league consists
of teams from Hensall, Zurich,
Huron Park, Centralia College
and Dashwood. Derry Boyle is
the president.
Dennis started out the year
playing for Thedford, then
decided to play for Dashwood.
The first game Dennis played
was against Hensall and Hensall
protested. Jack Ford had drove
to Thedford to get Gary Nichols
of Thedford to sign the release
which he did.
But, it was questioned at the
meeting over the Hensall protest,
The executive told Jack Ford if
he would drive back to Thedford
and get a statement from Nichols
to say he had given Dennis his
release, Dennis could play.
Jack Ford did this and did get
the statement. Then every team
signed this release to say he could
play except John Stephens of
CCAT, But the executive called a
meeting anyway and voted and
the teams voted against their own
signatures,
If the teams would read their
constitution they drew up for this
league it states the majority rules
but the rule was just ignored and
Dennis voted out.
This was not fair so the Dash-
wood team continued to play
Dennis and teams they played
protested which was the only way
Dashwood could get another
meeting. At the second meeting
they voted again and the
statement from Nichols again
ignored Dashwood lost the vote
by 3-2.
There were only four voting
members there. The executive
took the vote of a man that had
walked out before the voting was
done as a dissenting vote.
.bashwood requested a third
meeting because of an illegal
vote and lost 4-1.
There was a mile radius of 6
miles put on Dashwood. Dennis
lives 4 miles from Dashwood at
the farm he bought and 41/2 miles
from his home, which makes him
perfectly legal.
One of Huron Park's goalies
that has played most of their
games lives in Seaforth. Hensall
has a player living in London.
Zurich has a player living 11/4
miles east of Exeter and yet these
teams vote a player out that is
legal.
Does this sound fair? It is not
showing very good sport-
smanship.

STEPHEN — In loving memory
of a dear son and brother,
Laurie Charles Stephen, who
passed away January 31,
1971.
We little knew, when we awoke
that morning
The sorrow the day would bring,
The call was sudden, the shock
severe,
To part with one, we loved so dear.
Sometimes it's hard to
understand
Why some things have to be
But in His Wisdom, God has
planned,
Beyond our power to see,
He gave us strength
To fight the blow
But what it meant to lose you
Laurie,
Only those who have lost will
know.
