The meeting was chaired by Rev, R. A, Carson. Church reports were given, Receipts were $5,816.09 and expenditures were $4,631.30. The following were elected to offices for 1972: people's warden, Clarence Carter; rector's war- den, Bev Cunningham; lay delegates, Ken Carter, Ruth Hill; substitutes, Alton O'Niel, Roy Cunningham; vestry clerk, Ken Carter; treasurer, Ruth Hill. Board of Management, Murray Carter, Earl Morgan, Alan Hill, Gladys Cunningham, Bob Hodgins, Evelyn O'Niel; and auditors, Roy Cunningham and Bob Hodgins. The Rectory Committee is Ruth Hill, Pat Hodgins and Olive Hodgins. The Anglican Church Women of St. James Church will meet January 27 in the home of Mrs. Wilfred Cunningham. Cubs Nineteen boys from 1st Crediton Cub Pack and their Akela, Mrs. Bill Johnson and assistant Mrs. Sharon Goden visited Huron Park fire hall. They learned all the parts of a fire engine and safety equipment as well as how the fire box alarm rings in the station and tells where the fire is located. After all the information was given by Doc Wells and Norman Hyde they were shown three films pertaining to fire prevention. The highlight for the boys was a ride on the fire engine. Personals lgrs. She presented up-to-date in- formation on the new courses available; changes made in the last four years, and told where some of the graduates are working. Open House at the College will be March 22nd and 23, and Miss McGhee, invited all members to attend. Mrs. Walter Weber, first vice president, presided for the business. An invitation to attend a dessert euchre at Hensall sponsored by Kippen East W.I. February 29 was read. Plans were made for a euchre January 31, at the hall with the North and first five names of the East group in charge. Federation banquet, February 8, for around 100 will be catered to by North and East groups:' Mrs. Edmond Hendricisl.von-, vened the program. Piano solos were played by Ann Dearing and Valerie Finkbeiner; Mrs, Aaron Wein gave two readings and Mrs, Gordon Morlock commented on the motto, "Home making is no common task, it is the attitude that makes it interesting or dull!"
