joining in the singing of carols,
Tim Bigelow arranged and
introduced the program by the
Young People of the Bayfield

The musical program included a
trumpet solo,JohnBigelow; piano
solo, Wendy Greer; vocal
numbers by CathyBigelow, Mrs.
Joe Chapman, Wendy Greer and
Mrs. Bigelow. Several selections
were sung by the chorus,
Pastor and Mrs. Bigelow
closed the program with a few
words of encouragement to the
residents wishing them health
and happiness in the New Year,
Dear Sir:
I am writing on behalf of the
students of J.A.D. McCurdy. In
your "special" Christmas edition
"filled" with work from the
schools of the surrounding area,
such as Grand Bend P.S., Exeter
P.S., J.A.D. McCurdy P.S. etc.
Did I say J.A D. McCurdy?
We seem to have been left out of
the Times-Advocate Christmas
edition. I don't know what hap-
pened; perhaps the editor
misplaced the considerable pile
of work from the students of our
school.
It's not true that our school is
filled with untalented dull pupils.
More than the two articles (all
that I found) that appeared in the
Exeter paper deserved to appear
in its pages.
Keith MacDonald
Editors Note - Due to a large
amount of general, news in the
December' -22 issue,Ahe Christ-
mas school contributions were
limited. A reasonable attempt
was made to give the 12 schools in
the area equal coverage. In
checking we find four con-
tributions were published from
J.A.D. McCurdy the same
amount as Exeter Public School.
