Bobby and I would like a walky-talky, Roxanne would like ten records of Elvis Presley. Has Rudolpoh's nose gone dim? If it has I will leave a flash-light on the dining room table. I will leave a bottle of pop on the table too. Our class put on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for the hospital. To-day we put it on for the school. Thank you for the nice presents you gave me last year. On rainy days I play with my cash register. Two days after Christmas I went to the hospital to get my tonsils out. I wore the dress you gave to me Do you remember it? This year I would like a skating suit, I got some new skates just the other week ago and that's why I'd like the new suit. It was amongst this first group of 'letters that Elizabeth Knox' letter •"appeared that started a unique relationship between her and a reader who chose to be known only as "Another Elizabeth," "The other Elizabeth" not only provided Elizabeth Knox with what she wanted for Christmas, a Moo Moo Molly cow but eventually set up a trust fund. for the girl's future education. Elizabeth Knox is now married to Alan Cathcart and both she and her husband teach mathematics inYonibana Secondary School, in Lierra Leone, West Africa. The following is her letter which is accompanied by others written by some of her classmates, 15 years ago, The children were the grades two And three class of Miss Velma Ballagh.
