About his sorry plight
Santa started laughing
And laughed real hard, quite.
For the secret he'd been holding
That sent him off in glee
Was that all his reindeer weren't
the same,

Santa
By NANCY UNDERWOOD
Exeter P, S.
Santa had a secret,
The elves, yes they could tell.
He was jittery and jumpy
And goose-bumpy as well.
He couldn't stand still for the
fitting
Of his suit of cherry red,
And Mrs. Santa knew full well
That he shivered in his bed.
Now the elves, they couldn't
understand it
Why Santa was keyed up.
They decided to send
messenger
With a present of a pup.
To find out what was troubling
Santa,
And if it could be cured
So the nicest elf of all
And a message were procured.
Christmas morning
By KAREN GUENTHER
Grade 4 Stephen Central
When I wake up on Christmas
morning I run downstairs to see
what I got. If I wake up too early
I'm afraid Santa is still at our
place, so I hurry and try to go
back to sleep.
Finally I go downstairs and see
what is under the tree. I run in
and out my mother's and father's
bedroom showing them what
Santa gave me.
I love Christmas!
