Cubs The Lucan and Clandeboye cub pack held their regular Wed- nesday meeting in the form of a Christmas party. The boys sang carols and other Christmas songs. At seven thirty Santa arrived and because there wasn't any snow a policeman drove the Jolly old fellow to the church. Santa gave all the boys a large bag of candy from the big pack on his back. He questioned all the boys on their cub rules before he was escorted back to the north to finish his Christmas work. The Cubs expressed their thanks to Clarke's Variety for the bottle of pop they each received. Anyone interested in helping with the boys please contact Rev. Carson, Mrs, S. Taylor or Mrs. G. Edginton. Personals Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Edgington visited with Mr. & Mrs. Bud Watson of London. Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Harper, Jim and Don visited with their parents Mr. & Mrs. W. Cun- ningham. of Huronview, suffered a hip fracture and is in the hospital at Goderich. By MRS. SUE EDGINTON The report from Ottawa laboratories on the fox that wandered into Clandeboye recently received that the animal was rabid. The fox had been seen by other people in the village before this happening and they thought it was a pet. Residents are warned to be on the alert as this isn't the first report of rabies in this area. St. James Church Thursday the Anglican Church Women of St. James Church met in the home of Mrs. Roy Cun- ningham for their annual meeting and election of officers. The meeting was opened by Mrs. Arnold Cunningham and Rev.R. A, Carson lead the Bible study. The roll call was answered by a verse of scripture dealing with Stewardship. Plans were made to put carpet on the Church hall floor. The ladies are to serve tea after the Confirmation Service Sunday.
