I read an article recently that
says the latest thing is trash cans
which has a record message that
says 'thank you' when garbage is
deposited. Carrying this a few
steps further we can envision
coin vending machines which
grumble when they are empty, or
yell at you when you try to pawn
off a slug; then how about
parking meters that scream
when the time has run out or
better still a recorded cheery
greeting for a scowling waitress
who comes up to you with a
'wadda yu want?'
