night is Tuesday December 7. If
you enjoy a game of cribbage,
euchre, darts or shuffleboard

it!
540's Early Bird campaign is
progressing well, comrades.
Check the thermometer in the

something to crow about. Get
behind your branch of the
Canadian Legion and "let's go
over the top together."
To avoid disappointment
comrades, get your tickets for
the New Year's Eve Dance NOW.
Comrade Carl Stuckless advises
ticket sales very good. If you
want to welcome 1972 along with
friends, then it's 540's New Years

in third place in the league.
Last night Tavistock Braves
were in Lucan and tomorrow
night the Irish travel to Exeter to
meet the Hawks who it seems can
be beaten by any club except
Lucan this year. How about the
old song "What a difference a
year makes" especially to our
feathered friends.
Eve frolic. For noise
makers, hats, novelties and
comradeship, it's 540's New
Years Eve frolic.

Comrades, remember — "A man
