which was held in the Sunday
School room, Tuesday evening.
The meeting opened with a
reading from the pamphlet,
These Days, and prayer. Mrs.
Lloyd Miller read the scripture
and Mrs. Harold Parsons gave

the scene Sunday of the Southern
Ontario Ladies curling
Association junior playdowns.
The winning rink skipped by
Karen Lempest of the London
curling club now advances to the
division finals at Westmount Golf
and Country club in Kitchener,
Sunday. In addition to skip
Lempest other members of the
London rink were Wendy Betkus„
l'ntti Norris and Nancy Heblien.

The Exeter rink was skipped by

The study book, comparing the
community church in the days of
the apostles to our own com-
munity church, was taken by
Mrs. Gerald Carey and Mrs. Ivan
Norris. Mrs. John Miller gave a
poem, Outwitted.
Mrs. Carey presided for the
business period when final plans
where made for the program to
be presented by the Dominion
Life Choir.
Dominion Life Choir
The Dominion Life Choir of
Waterloo presented an evening of
music in the church Wednesday
night. Donald Landry was con-
ductor and master of ceremonies
for the porogram which included
sacred songs, popular songs and
folk songs as well as solos by
Dorothy Mitchell, contralto,
Dolores Koegler, soprano and
DonaldLandry, baritone. The
pianist for the evening was Ada
Eby.
The choir was introduced by
Mrs. Gerald Carey and thanked
by Mrs. Thomas L. Scott.
Cubs and Scouts banquet
Monday evening, the mothers
of the first Cromarty Cubs and
Scouts pack catered_ for the
banquet which preceded the
annual meeting of the Perth
District Cub and Scout leaders.
The guest speaker for the evening
was Frank Spence. Among of-

chapter of the Study Book on
Uganda.
Mrs. Bob Ratcliffe gave a
preview of the book "Run While
the Sun is Hot" by Harold Fuller.
Mrs. Earl Watson conducted
the election-of officers for 1972.
The meeting closed with the
Mizpah benediction.
