While the Jets are not entered in a regular league they have scheduled games with top notch opposition during the next couple of months. This weekend, the Lucan- Ilderton club travels to Erie, Pennsylvania to take on the Erie Lions, a semi-pro club in Friday and Saturday night contests. Tuesday night they will be back at the Huron Park arena to meet the Ingersoll Marlands, a top notch Intermediate "B" club. The following Friday night, the Jets will host the Aylmer Blues. While all games are of an exhibition nature, all regulations of the OHA must be adhered to when playing clubs entered in the Ontario Hockey Association, Coach leads Playing coach Jack Nairn led the Jet scoring machine in Sunday's 9-3 win over Delhi- Langton, Nairn scored three times, with all goals coming in the first period. Line-mates Steve Storey and Doug Galloway each picked up a pair of assists on the scores by the coach. The other Jet goal in the first period was fired by Terry Bourne with Jamie Robb helping set up the play. In the second period, Gary Hagerman of the visitors was able to get the puck past Don Stewart in the L-I nets. Lovell 7 By ALVIN WILLERT In the first novice house-league game, Saturday, the Montreal team easily defeated the Van- couver Canucks 6.2, Montreal goals were scored by I;rian Mercer with a "hat trick", Dave Robinson with two and Philip McLeod who scored the si ngle. Danny Bell scored both goals for the defeated Vancouver team. In a close second game the powerful Boston team defeated New York in a very vlose game, 2-0. David Atthill and Jeff Newby scored singles for the victorious Boston team. The Black Hawks emerged victorious in the first game in the pee wee house-league. Led by Perry Pooley with two goals the 131,kk Hawks defeated the Barracudas 5-3. Bill Datars, Fred Robinson, and Eugene Clark scored singles. Brad Taylor, Steve Baynham, and Randy Fisher each scored a goal for the Barracudas. The Bruins easily defeated the Mustangs 5-1. Randy Parsons withthree goals lead illy Big Bad Bruins. Darrell Preszcator scored the other Bruin goals. Dave Holtzman scored the lone Mustang goal.
