Live Entertainment FRIDAY & SATURDAY
THIS WEEKEND
Sunday, the Lucan and Ilderton
branches of the Royal! Canadian
Legion attended Holy Com-
munion in Holy Trinity Church,
The epistle was read by Comrade
Bill Smith. The minute silence
and Last Post was in charge of
Comrade Sid Daley.
Rev. R. Carson preached on
Remembrance. He said that all of
us are concerned about life and
the after life. There are four
aspects of life and death that
concern us, namely, our
character and personality sur-
vive death; we go into the nearer
presence of God; 'Good News,'
the Gospel says we'll rise with
Christ; for the Christian, life
after death is a progress towards
union with Christ.
Mr. Carson concluded by
saying that our knowledge of life
after death confronts us with a
challenge to be prepared to spend
eternity with Christ and it leaves
us with a promise that Christ is'

If the Irish hope to remain in
contention for first place they will
have to sharpen up their
defensive play. The lack of good
defense has made it difficult for
the Irish goaltender to keep the
opposition off the score sheet. It
seems to this observer that the
team will have to start playing
man to man hockey if they hope
to slow down the opposition,
