KEN McKELLAR CROMARTY Mrs. Charles Douglas was hostess and Mrs. Grace Scott presided at the November meeting of the Women's Missionary Society Cromarty church. Mrs. Scott opened the meeting with a poem on "Sacrifice" and also led the devotions directed on the same theme. The offering was dedicated by Mrs. J.R. Jefferson. A topic "A Woman of the Bible" was presented by Mrs. Will Miller when she reviewed the Book of Esther. The roll call "Remembrance" was answered by 13 members. The president, Mrs. Mervin Dow conducted the business, when arrangements for the concert to be given by a choir from Kitchener in Cromarty church for November 17 were discussed. Mrs. Calder McKaig reported 39 cards, letters and visits to the sick. "Your prayers are asked" in the Glad Tidings was read by Mrs. C. McKaig. Each member read anarticlefrom the record for current events. Mrs. John Wallace gave a reading "Godly Remembrance". President, Mrs. Howard Maier dealt with the business. A program for Senior Citizens 50 and over is planned for eight o'clock at the Dashwood Com- munity Centre Wednesday November 17. It is hoped to make this a monthly event. The Institute will cater to a supper for the ball club. Achievement Day will be held in Zurich November 13.
