Joyce Marie Ferguson and
William John Morgan exchanged
wedding vows ,at a ceremony
performed in Hensall United
Church, by Rev. D. Beck,
October 30, 1971,
Parents of the couple are Mr.
and Mrs. Russell Ferguson, RR 1
Hensall, and Mr. and Mrs. Bev.
Morgan, also of RR 1 Hensall.
Miss Greta Lammie played
traditional wedding music as the
bride was escorted down the aisle
by her father. The bride's floor
length gown was of white lace
and featured a fashionable hood,
She carried mauve carnations
and white shasta mums.
Attending her were Ellen
Gingerich and Susan Morgan who
wore pant-dresses in autumn
colored polyester georgette with
mauve bodices and Juliet
• sleeves.
Larry Morgan was best man
for his brother while Laarry
Ferguson and Scot Morgan
ushered the guests who were
entertained at a reception dinner
held at the Hensall Legion Hall
following the ceremony. Allison
Morgan, uncle of the groom, was
master of ceremonies.
A dance was also held in the
evening at the Hensall Com-
munity Centre.
The bride changed to a smart
red, black and white coat-dress
with matching accessories for a
honeymoon trip around Lake
Erie.
Mr. and Mrs, Morgan are now
residing in Galt.
Prior to the wedding Joyce was
entertained at numerous
showers.
Mrs. . Jane De Kay, London,
held a miscellaneous shower for
the Morgan relatives; Mrs.
Shirley Ferguson, Lynda and
Kathy gave a shower for the
Ferguson relatives; another was
arranged by Sharon Passmore
for the school girls.
A community party was held in
the Chiselhurst Church and Mrs.
Stanley Mitchell held a
miscellaneous shower for the
neighbours and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Bev. Morgan
entertained the bridal party after
rehearsal, Friday evening.

Church, Zurich, decorated with
baskets of pink and blue poms
and white divinity, was the
setting of a pretty wedding when
Joan Marie Oesch and Glenn
Harvey Hodgins exchanged
marriage vows October 30,
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Russell Pesch, RR 1,
Varna, and the groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hodgins,
Creditors.
Rev. Father A. Durand of-
ficiated for the double-ring
ceremony. Wedding music was
supplied by organist, Mrs. Walter
MacDougald and soloist Janice
MacDougald of Fullarton.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride looked lovely in
her wedding gown fashioned
from crystal peau. Venish lace
trimmed the wedding band
neckline, edges of sheath sleeves
the empire waist and the front of
the A-line. skirt, A floral cluster
held in place a French-illusion
blusher veil. She carried a
cascade of pink sweetheart roses,
and white divinity with trailing
ivy.
Matron of honour, Mrs. Gordon
Maloney, sister of the bride was
gowned in a pant dress, with a
fitted bodice in blue sheer and
trimmed with ruffled sheer that
blended with the round ruffled
neckline,
Bridesmaids Miss Mary Oesch,
sister of the bride, and Miss Mary
Ilodgins, sister of the groom,
were gowned alike in pink pant
gowns. They all carried cascades
of straw flowers, baby poms and
white divinity, and wore white
divinity in their hair,
Gordon Maloney was best man
and Randy Parsons and Ron
Amerongen ushered the guests.
A wedding reception and dance
was held in the Exeter Legion
Hall.
For a honeymoon to Nashville
Tennessee, and Southern States,
the bride donned a brown dress
with white lace trim, beige coat,
brown accessories,
On their return the couple will
reside at RR 1, Crediton.
UCW conclude
Americas study
Unit I of United Church Women
met at the church last week and
heard Mrs. Ernie Jackson give
the concluding study on The
Americas. She pointed out the
many difficulties facing these
countries including over
population and lack of education,
Mrs. Hector Murray conducted
the devotions, and Mrs.
Wellington Brock was in charge
of the business. Plans were
discussed for the coming bazaar.

Consumers should
complain more
When consumers are not
satisfied with the quality of food
they have purchased, they have a
right to complain. Problems of
poor quality will not be solved
unless the right person is aware
of them.
To whom should a consumer
complain? First, go to the store
manager. If the problem is not
solved . here, write to the
president of the company and
outline the complaint.
It is important that you make
your complaint to the store
manager or manufacturer of the
product. However inexpensive a
purchase may be, poor quality
should not be shrugged off. The
problem will not be solved unless
more consumers follow through
and complain.
If you cannot solve a problem
or need information, write to the
Ontario Food Council, Ontario
Department of Agriculture and
Food, Parliament Buildings,
Toronto, Ontario.
MARRIED 65 YEARS — Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Jory, Exeter, quietly
celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at their home with their
family, Saturday evening. Friends and neighbors dropped in the
following day to extend their best wishes. Messages of
congratulation were received from Queen Elizabeth, Prime Minister
Pierre Trudeau, and Premier William Davis and the Hon. Charles
MacNaughton, MPP. The Jorys have eight children, 28 grandchildren
