CROMARTY
A fondue party, with mothers
as guests, was the feature of the
seventh meeting of the Froot
Loops, held at the home of Mrs.
Charles Douglas October 20.
The meeting opened with the 4-
II followed by roll call,
"State a fruit recipe you enjoyed
and why". The secretary's report
was given by Nancy Allen and
Lorraine Laing led the business
period.
The record books are to be
handed into the leaders by
November 6 and it was decided to
hold an extra meeting on Wed-
nesday at the home of the leader
Mrs. John Wallace.
The girl's sample menus were
taken up and Mrs. Douglas led
the discussions on party foods
under the headings "Garnishes
and Accompaniments," "Fruit
Specialties", "Fruirand Cheese
Trays", "Fruit Fondues" and
"Fruit Arrangements".
Lunch was served consisiting
of a fruit and cheese tray made
by Julie Elliott and Margaret
Laing; a cheese and crackers
tray, featuring many varieties of
cheese, made by Debbie Wallace,
Cheryl Riley and Beth Hulley; a
caramel aid fruit fondue made
by Lorraine Laing, Janet Kin-
sman and Nancy Allen and grape
sparkle by Marilyn Laing, Gail
Harhurn and Pam Wallace.

The Marion Ritchie Evening
Auxiliary presented their thank
offering service at the

"Bless This House" and "Peace
be with the World". Mrs. Eldon
Allen read the scripture and gave
a meditation and Mrs. R. Laing
led in prayer.
Readings were given by Mrs.
Carter Kerslake, Mrs. John
Miller and Mrs. Lorne Elliott.
The meeting closed with the
Lord's prayer.
