Many characters were represented among the various costumes and Mr. & Mrs. Chas, Browning, Huron Park, and Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence Amos of Exeter were the judges. The prize for the best dressed pre-school children was captured by Shelley Tomes. CLARKEKENNEDY GRAND BEND Mrs. Wally Desjardine was hostess at an Orpha Club dinner at her home in Oakwood Tuesday evening of last week. The thirty- nine ladies who attended enjoyed a delicious pot luck menu. Following the dinner, a short business period was conducted by the president. Games of court whist com- pleted the evening. Prizes were won by Mrs. Helen Hicks, Mrs. Eva 13ariteatt and Mrs. Hazel Odbert. Spot prizes were won by Mrs. W.0 Conner and Mrs. Kay Thomson. The raffle prize was also won by Mrs. W. O'Conner. Personals Mr. & Mrs. George Marr of Dorchester were dinner guests with Mr. & Mrs. Roy Flear, Sunday. Mr, & Mrs. Edward Odbert. left for Arizona Monday where they will spend the winter months. Clinton Brittain of Orillia will be guest speaker at the United Church's 44 th anniversary, Sunday morning and' evening. Mrs. Garry Brenner will be guest soloist in the evening. Dave Sheppard will be open for business Thursday of this week with a Young Classic Hair Salon for men and women on the main street Grand Bend. The children who attended the nursery school for the han- dicapped at 'the Alhambra Hall enjoyed a morning at the Pineridge Zoo recently.
