the Halloween party in the
Community Centre Saturday
night. Many characters were
represented among the various
costumes and Mr. & Mrs. Chas,
Browning, Huron Park, and Mr.
& Mrs. Lawrence Amos of Exeter
were the judges.
The prize for the best dressed
pre-school children was captured
by Shelley Tomes. Other prize
winners were: fancy costume,
Lynn Cronyn; hippie, Annie De

GRAND BEND
Mrs. Wally Desjardine was
hostess at an Orpha Club dinner
at her home in Oakwood Tuesday
evening of last week. The thirty-
nine ladies who attended enjoyed
a delicious pot luck menu.
Following the dinner, a short
business period was conducted by
the president.
Games of court whist com-
pleted the evening. Prizes were
won by Mrs. Helen Hicks, Mrs.
Eva 13ariteatt and Mrs. Hazel
Odbert. Spot prizes were won by
Mrs. W.0 Conner and Mrs. Kay
Thomson. The raffle prize was
also won by Mrs. W. O'Conner.
