They played traditional Hallowe'en games and were judged for costumes. Thursday, the Explorers celebrated Hallowe'en, Mrs. Jim Mac- donald introduced a craft project and the girls discussed work to be done in their study of Africa. Rev. Turner also spoke at the Evening Fellowship Hour in the church, Crediton. Personals The Crediton WI November and December meetings have been interchanged with the an- niversary dinner being held,,in December. Mrs. Joe Bullock was honored by Supertect for 25 years of faith- ful service. Her award was a bronze plaque and a diamond- studded wrist watch and pin. Mrs. Church, Barrie, visited last week with her mother, Mrs. N. C. Motley. Mr. & Mrs. H. J. Moyer of Farmington, Michigan, were guests of Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Gaiser. They took Mr. & Mrs, Gaiser to Sudbury to visit their grandson Rick, recently tran- sferred there by the Bank of Montreal. On their return they toured Ottawa, Cornwall and Kingston. At Cornwall they visited Mr. & Mrs. L. V. Lang (Mary Gunn). After leaving the Lindsay and Peterborough area Mr, & Mrs. Will Oestricher visited friends and relatives in Bowmanville, Port Perry and Don Mills. Mrs. Roy Goulding (Adeline Wein) died suddenly in London, Sunday. Mr. & Mrs. Orville Jones have moved from London into the home formerly occupied by Clara Geiser. qa Wilda& Pleettd The Impressions, a musical group from the Bethel Reformed Church, Exeter, supplied the music for a Sunday evening song service arranged by the Christian Reformed Church of Clinton and led by Dick Roorda. The Huronia Male Chorus from the Exeter area along with chorus director, Mrs. R. McCaffrey, accompanied by Mrs. F. Wildfong, provided the program for Family Night. The chorus of twenty men blended their voices for a very enjoyable hour of music, and also sang several request numbers. Charles Godbolt, a member of the original Huronia Chorus, thanked those taking part on behalf of the residents. Reverend Youmatoff of Bayfield led a lively sing-a-long at the program and tea Wed- nesday afternoon sponsored by the Kinetic Club of Clinton. Mrs. Jane Young expressed the ap- preciation of the residents. The program was under the direction of Nelson Lamport. Rev. Douglas Warren led a singsong with Mrs. Ed Fink- beiner accompanying. Mrs. Ross Pickering gave a reading, Mrs. Lawrence Amos a piano solo, and Miss Nola Faist sang accompanied by Mrs. Emmery Fahner. A kitchen orchestra composed of Mrs. Gordon Finkbeiner, Mrs. Ed Finkbeiner, Mrs. Walter Fydenchuk, Mrs. Lloyd Hey, Rev. & Mrs. Armin Schlenker and Ella Morlock performed. Rev. Warren presented a gift of money to Mr. & Mrs. Lamport and Mrs. Ed Finkbeiner presented a gift to Mrs. Lamport on behalf of the U.C.W. A tape recording of Saturday's wedding '"ht the manse was played and the evening's program was also recorded. Friday evening the Lamport family met in the Community Hall for a time of fellowship with Mr. & Mrs. Mel Lamport. They presented to them a purse of money. Sunday morning Mr. & Mrs. Lamport left by train for their home in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Church service In the Sunday morning service at Zion United Church the sacrament of baptism was ad- ministered by Rev. Douglas Warren to Scott Bradley, son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Crawford; Charlene Marie, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Charles Browning; John Allen, son of Mr. & Mrs. John Turvey; Donald Bruce, son of Mr. & Mrs. Don Dundas, and Chas Allen, son of Mr. & Mrs. John Miller. Rev. John Turner, Toronto was guest speaker at the service conducted by Rev. Douglas Warren at the Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich Sunday evening.
