as Bill Dunnell and Jack Nairn
broke in on the Western net.
Dunnell faked a pass to Nairn and
fired a blistering wrist shot into
the top right hand corner of the
net,
Again it was the Mustangs
going ahead with Gary Coons
scoring at 11.29, This time it took
the L-I boys only three minutes to
square things.
Steve Proctor was the goal
scorer as he tipped in a pass
from Jacques Cousineau. Also
assisting on the play was Barry
Baynham a former Exeter Hawk

found the mark at 16.52 to send
the two clubs to the first rest
session on even terms. Assisting
Robb were Walt Parkinson and
Bill Neil.
The second period belonged
completely to the Jets as they
scored three times without a
reply from the visitors.
At 6.45, the veteran trio started
rolling with Galloway scoring on
a play originated by Nairn and
Storey. Seven minutes later Dick
Doughty slid the puck into the
Western net after taking a pass
from Barry Irwin.
The period scoring was closed
out by Jack Nairn as he flipped in
a short backhand shot at 14.27
with his two mates assisting.
Scoring in the third period was
confined to the last half, Storey
started it off at the eleven minute
mark converting a pass from
Galloway.
Only 40 seconds later, Bill
White drilled in a 30-foot shot on
' an unassisted effort. The final Jet
