ELECTROHOME
COLOR TV
A first acquaintance with Electrohome color
TV may suggest a sense of rivalry between
our tradition-oriented cabinetry craftsmen
and our computer-oriented color TV
engineers. How else to explain one product
bearing the qualities of warm hand-rubbed
woodgrains plus precision space-age
technology?
Here are several examples of this blending —
not rivalry — of two divergent talents. Each
features finely detailed cabinetry in rich
selected veneers and the outstanding new
C-10 chasis from Electrohome is as
up-to-date as technology permits, created by
the optimum blending of printed and
handwired circuits on fiberglas boards. The
C-10 chassis is designed for
easy-in-home-service with front access to
convergence board and panel, and plug-in
"Solid State" devices to name only a few
service features. Chassis features exclusive
Electrolokt automatic fine tuning and
Electrotintt automatic tint control with
super rectangular 315 square inch
Electrobrite * picture tube and Instavu* for
added good measure.

By MRS. FRED BOWDEN
CENTRALIA
A large congregation, including
many visitors, attended the
annual Thank-Offering service in
the United Church Sunday
morning with the Rev. J. T.
Beaton conducting the service.
In his sermon Rev. Beaton
made reference to the laying of
the corner stone fifty years ago
and of the sacrifices made by the
people in the building of the new
church. Not only did they feel the
need for a place to Worship but
they wanted to provide a place
for future generations.
The minister asked, "What
mean these stones to you? Why
continue to maintain a church?
Are we in danger of putting the
Master to death through our
indifference?"
Special music included a
double duet by Mrs. Ray Mills
and sisters Bonnie, Robin and
Faye Blair, an anthem by the
choir and a solo by Mrs. Russell
Wilson. The offertory music was
an organ and piano duet by Mrs.
K. Hodgins and Marikay.
Ushers were Harvey Smith,
Robert Blair, Ray Shoebettom
and Ray Mills,
Among those attending the
service and visiting with
relatives were Mr. & Mrs. John
Thomas of Belmont with Mr. &
Mrs, Ray Shoebottom.
Mr. & Mrs. Keith Hodgins and
