One of the features of this
year's, Exeter fall fair was again
the large number of exhibits
entered in the school section by
pupils from the elementary
schools in the area,
In addition to the usual entries
of writing, art, booklets, flowers,
were many baked goodies
produced not only by the girls
but some boys got into the act too.
Jim Jarvis of Exeter, won the
pizza special, Frank Winters of
Precious Blood had the best entry
of brownies, Jim Gregus won
with his cupcakes and Wally
Fydenchuk of Stephen won the
Crediton Women's Institute
special for the best decorated
party cake.

The Young People's Class were
in charge of the Sunday morning
service with Brenda Skinner
conducting the service.
Jim Skinner read the psalm
and David Parsons read the
scripture.
The choir, assisted by Mrs.
Philip Johns, rendered several
selections with Judy and Susan
Parsons accompanying them on
guitars.
Helen Batten read the story,
"Trouble in Amen Corner," With
the choir singing softly in the
background,
The sermon, "From Drugs to
Jesus Christ," was taken by Joan
Allen; then Joan Lynn led an
open discussion period with
several interesting comments
froth the congregation being
made.
The ushers were Michael
Elford, Ralph Batten, Murray
Johns and Jim Skinner,
