Several families were without electricity for 20 hours. 4-H CLUB The Parkhill Ailsa Craig 4-II Dairy Calf Club met Tuesday evening at the home of Ruth Coursey near Mt. Carmel. Members from this area at- tending were: Jim Dixon, Ron Lee, Robert Marshall, Eddie Groenewegen, Susan and Danny Hardy, Pat and Paul Hodgins. PERSONALS Mr. & Mrs, John Brownlee and family of Gravenhurst are spending this week with the latter's parents, Mr, & Mrs. Ken Carter. The Clandeboye UCW travelled by bus to London Saturday evening where they taped the show, Act Fast. They will appear on CFPL-TV, September 5. Mr. & Mrs. C. Schwanke, Darryl and Paul of Edmonton, Alta., spent several days with the latter's parents, Mr. & Mrs. Rupert Williams. Mrs. Clarence Carter en- tertained several children August 24 in honour of her daughter Joanne's eighth birthday. Doug and Jack are starting their own Auctioneering Business and along with their interest in the Hensall Livestock Sales are going to devote full time to the marketing of livestock, property and chattels for the people of this area who are interested in having an auction. Doug is presently living in Burlington but will be residing in Dashwood as of the first week in September. Jack is living on his own farm on No. 83 highway, west of Exeter and has worked in and around Exeter since 1967.
