Erin and Peter of Sarnia, ac-
companied by Mrs. Alma Lostell,
Mrs. Maryanne Statton and
Michael of London have returned
from a six week holiday in
Western Canada and United
States.
They attended Saskatchewan
Homecoming as both Mrs.
:Eagleson and Mrs. Lostell were
born in southern Saskatchewan.
Mrs. Eagleson. gathered much
information about her Eacrett
and O'Brien pioneer ancestors
whose history she is compiling.
They visited relatives in
Manitoba and Saskatchewan
including Mrs. Eagleson's
grandmother of .Frobisher
Saskatchewan.
At Cardston Alberta they
visited Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Shields
and the Mormon Temple,
Another highlight enjoyed was
Calgary Stampede before they
toured on to Vancouver,

Public notice is hereby ,given, that in accordance with the provisions of The Liquor
Licence Act, and in pursuance of a by-law passed by the municipal council of the said
Municipality on the 19th day of August 1971 I 'require the presence of the voters at the
Hay Township Council Room of the said Municipality on the 1st day of Sept. 1971, at
one o'clock in the afternoon, D.S.T., at which time I will announce the names of the
persons appointed to act for the Affirmative and for the Negative respectively upon the
poll to be held under Section 72 of The Liquor Licence Act, upon the following
question(s):

who have been holidaying with
the former's mother, Mrs. Ellen
Walker, and uncle Mr. Charles
Grassick, left this week for their
home in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Patsy Parker attended the
Canadian National Exhibition in
Toronto last week.
Brian Davidson of Port
Colbourne who has been spending
the week with his grandmother,
Mrs. Verna Twitchell, returned
home Sunday.
Guest soloists at Hensall
United Church, Sunday morning
were Mrs. Albert Large and
Danny James, Stratford,
been visiting old friends and
acquaintances around Hensall
and vicinity.
Mr. & Mrs. Laird Mickle spent
Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. Robert
Mickle, London.
Charles Mickle returned last
Thursday to Hamilton after
spending six weeks abroad, He
spent a month in the British Isles
and was on a conducted tour for
sixteen days travelling through
England, Wales, Ireland and
Scotland. He flew from London,
England to the Island of Majorca
and spent a week there before
flying back to London, England,
to spend a few more days before
returning to Canada.
Mr. & Mrs. Don MacLaren,
Jodi and Brooke of Scarborough
who vacationed at Pinelake
Camp, Bayfield, were recent
visitors with Mr. & Mrs. Lorne
Chapman and Mrs. Bertha
MacGregor.
Gwendolyn MacLean, nurse-in-
Tom Travers, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Dort Travers, Hensall, who
successfully completed his first
semester at the University of
Guelph is now enjoying a trip to
Spotland.

Leamington, Mrs. Helen
Hildebrand and son Walter of
Winnipeg, were weekend visitors
with Mr. & Mrs. Robert Cook.
Ann Mickle, Toronto, returned
last week from spending a week
holidaying near Parry Sound,
and is now visiting her parents,
Mr. & Mrs. Laird Mickle.

spent Thursday with his cousins,
Mr. & Mrs. Harry Hoffman,
Dashwood, and Mr. & Mrs. John
Soldan,

Colorado, formerly of Hensall,
son of the late Samuel Steacy,
who is spending the summer al
Jowett's Grove, Bayfield, has

groomsman.
For the reception at the
Shillelagh Motor Motel in Lucan,
the bride's mother was assisted
by the groom's mother in
receiving the guests. The
couple's only living grandparent,
Mrs. Lovina Reichert, was also
present.
For travelling to Niagara Falls
and the Thousand Islands, the
bride changed to a bright yellow
hot pant ensemble, with white
accessories.
On their return, the couple will
reside in Ilderton.
Prior to the wedding, a shower
was held in honour of the bride by
Mrs. Mary Walls, Mrs. Joyce
Murphy, Mrs. Joan Campbell,
and Miss Barbara Stewart at St.
George's Church Parish Hall. A
second shower was held at the
home of Harry Shipley, by the
Shipley family.
Vanneck United Church women
held a shower for her in the
church's classroom, and Mrs R
H. Cunningham and Mrs. Wm.
Coyle hosted a shower at Mrs.
Cunningham's home in London.
The bride's mother held an
Open House in her daughter's
honour,
St. George's Anglican Church,
London Township, was decorated
with baskets of white mums and
yellow shasta daisies for a quiet
wedding July •31, uniting in
marriage Norma Noreen Grieve,
only daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles N. Grieve, Ilderton, to
Kenneth James Reichert, only
son of Mr. and Mrs. Orland
Reichert, Hensall,
Rev. G, C. Johnson performed
the double ring ceremony, and
Mrs. George Graves was
organist.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a street-
length gown of snow white crepe,
featuring an empire waist and
ring neckline. These were ac-
cented by mauve lace, the sheer
sleeves having matching ap-
pliques on them. The back
featured a fall-in train, Her
headpiece consisted of small
white fabric rosettes. She carried
a nosegay of miniature yellow
roses and white daisies,
Mrs. Mary Walls, Denfield,
cousin of the bride, was matron of
honour. She wore an empire
waist dress in shades of mauve.
