Eifert officiated at the ceremony. Parents of the con* are Mr. and Mrs, William Vander Wiel, RR 2 Kippen and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Walper, Exeter.. Attending the bride were Donna Desjardine, maid of honor, Sharon Vander Wiel and Connie Gibbings, bridesmaids, Heather Vander Wiel, flower girls and Michael Jorgesen, ringbearer, Bride-elect Wilma Dalrymple, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Wilmar Dalrymple, Exeter, was honoured with a miscellaneous shower July 22 at the home of Mrs. Allan Becker, Crediton. Hostesses, arranging contests and readings were Doreen Browning and Jean Regier, The bride-to-be was assisted by Elizabeth Bender and Brenda Becker in opening her gifts. DEICHERT REUNION The annual Deichert reunion was held July 25 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claire Deichert VINCENT REUNION The annual Vincent reunion was held at Bayfield park, with 40 in attendance. Various sports were enjoyed with winners as follows; Races, Dorothy Bullock, Thelma Beierling, Verna Zirk, Harold Vincent, George Bullock, Albert Vincent, Elsie Schofield, Margaret Dunigan, Judy Vin- cent, Harvey Beierling, Glen Zirk, Karen Dunigan, Elaine Vincent, Lori Vincent. Winning other events were Elsie Schofield, Dorothy Bullock, Thelma Beierling, Harold Vin- cent, George Bullock, Leslie Adams, Dorothy Bullock, Leslie Adams, Winnie Vincent, Dorothy Bullock, George Bullock, Mar- jorie Adams, Harold Vincent. Prizes to the longest married couple went to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vincent, Parkhill; oldest lady, Helen Bertwistle, Grand Bend; oldest man, Albert Vin- cent, Belgrave; birthday closest reunion, Mrs. Leslie Adams, Dashwood and Mrs, Katie Vin- cent, Grand Bend. Races were won by Sherry Gibson, Jimmy Keller, Anne Deichert, Freddie Miller, Gary Deichert, Jamie Learn, Lorie Keller, Ron Deichert and George Keller, Games and relays were enjoyed by all. The proceedings started with dinner at noon. The president, Spence Read, welcomed everyone, grace was sung and a minute of silence observed, Table committee was Mr. and Mrs. Hermon Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Keller and Mr, and Mrs. Ken Hodgins, Mrs, Melville Gunning and Mrs. Tessa Jaques were in charge of registration. An afternoon of fun followed dinner. In charge of the sports were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Con- stable and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Miller. Winners were as follows: Karen Heather, Kim Heather, Adam Martin, Janet Parkinson, Margaret Parkinson, Brian Parkinson, Steven Jaques, Brenda Parkinson, Murray Parsons, Dennis Keller, Brenda Parkinson and Bill Heather, Margaret Parkinson, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jaques. Oldest person present was Mrs. Ella Hem; youngest, Leanne Wright; nearest birthday, Hermon Foster; nearest wedding anniversary, Erlma and Milton Keller. Relays and candy scramble were also enjoyed. GEORGE PRATT, Exeter, won our contest by coming closest in measuring the distance from our old store to our new one. She guessed 610' and the correct measurement was 608'/2'.
