man, while Guido Coolman,
Ayton, was usher.
After a reception at Crediton
Community Centre the bride
donned a smart fortrel polyester
knit dress in a hot pink shade with
white lace trim for a wedding trip
to New York and Niagara Falls.

Presbyterian Church, Hensall,
which was decorated with can-
delabra, daisies, mums, pink
carnations, ivy and pink
streamers.
The parents of the couple are
Mr, and Mrs. Aldon C, Vanstone,
Hensall, and Mr, and Mrs.
Leonard Restemayer, RR 1,
Dashwood,
Mrs. Blanche Dougall played
the wedding music and ac-
companied the soloist Mrs.
Peggy Coombs.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a gown of
guipure daisy lace with pink
motifs interspersed throughout
the dress. It featured a bateau
neckline and bishop sleeves with
pink daisy trim. A silk illusion
cathedral veil outlined with the
same trim complemented the
gown. Her bouquet was pink
sweetheart roses.
The bridal attendants were
Kathy Gaiser, maid of honor,
Mrs. Elaine Jesney and. Chris
Vanstone, bridesmaids, with
Kelly Vanstone, flovvergirl.
They were gowned in floor
length pink chiffon dresses with
white lace trim and white sheer
sleeves. The adult, attendants
carried bouquets of white daisies
and the flower girl held %wicker
basket of daisies and rosebuds,
Wayne Denomme acted as the
ring bearer.
John Becker was best man
while Bob Boogemans and Bill
Chambers ushered the guests.
A reception was held in the
Dashwood Community Centre,
after which the bride changed
into a turquoise crimplene dress
with white accessories,
Mr. and Mrs. Restemayer are
now residing on the groom's
farm, RR 1, Dashwood.
Prior to the wedding the bride
was honored with several
showers hosted by the following
relatives and friends: Mrs,
Alphonse Denomme and Mrs,
Robert Boogemans at the home
of Mrs. Denomme; Mrs, Ken
Chambers and Mrs. Bob
Chambers at the home of Mrs.
K. Chambers ;Mrs.Garnet Allan
and Mrs. Grant McClinchey at
the Hensall Legion Hall.

Sgt. (S). He is stationed at
Shearwater, N.S.

last Sunday afternoon at
Woodstock park celebrating the
birthday of their son-in-law, Jim
Beckett of Kitchener,
Mr. & Mrs. H. Vander Lei,
Heemskerk, Holland are visiting
with Mr. Vander Lei's sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Bruce
Cann.

spending several days with their

Mr. & Mrs. Frederick Klein.

Zwaan and the late Mr. John
Zwaan, Sr., Clinton.
Rev. Harman Heeg performed
the ceremony, July 10, 1971. Mrs.
Janet Martins, the soloist, was
accompanied by John Caldwell at
the organ,
The bride was given in
marriage by her father. She wore
a chiffon over taffeta gown with
lace and yellow trim and a short
train, A cathedral length veil
completed the bridal ensemble.
Her bouquet was an orchid
surrounded by yellow mums,
sweetheart roses and
stephanotis.
Maid of honor was Connie
Perrin, while Mrs. Peter Zwaan
and Dianne Broeze were
bridesmaids. Little Linda Zwaan
acted as flower girl. They were
dressed in yellow taffeta gowns
with floral lace overlay and
carried mauve and yellow shasta
mums.
Peter Zwaan was best man for
his brother, and Henry Gerrits
and John Klein-Haar, brother of
the bride were ushers. The ring
bearer was Robbie Gerrits.
After a reception at the
Canadian Legion Hall, Exeter,
the couple left on a wedding trip
to Eastern districts.
The young couple will reside at
Brucefield, Mr. Zwaan is em-
ployed with General Coach,
Hensall, and his wife is a teacher
at Huron Centennial School,
Brucefield.

Mr. and Mrs. Alf Smith enjoyed
a week's tour of Southern Ontario
and visited friends in Toronto,
Trenton, Cornwall and Ottawa.
Highlights of their experiences
were viewing the film, North of
Thunder Bay, at Ontario Place,
touring the Thousand Islands,
seeing history at Fort Henry,
Kingston, the hydro plant at
Cornwall, the "Arts Centre,
Ottawa, and attending a per-
formance by Jack McPortland in
the Chateau Laurier.
In Cornwall they were guests of

Mrs. Isaac Gower, Mrs. Joe
Bullock, Mrs. Joe McCann,
Henry Pfaff and Patty and Randy
Pfaff attended the Pfaff reunion
in Riverview Park, Exeter,
Sunday.
Major and Mrs. W. S. Misener
and family, WilloWdale, are
visiting with Mr. & Mrs. Maurice
Beaver before leaving for Major
Misener's new posting at
Greenwood, Nova Scotia.
Mr. & Mrs. Charles Browning
and family have moved to Huron
Park, Mr. & Mrs, Martin have
purchased their home and moved
to Crediton from Orangeville,
Mrs. Ed. Finkbeiner
discharged from St. Joseph's
Hospital, is spending some time
with Miss Clara Gaiser.
Mrs. Lawrence Amos has
resigned as organist of Zion
United Church and her place has
been taken by Douglas Lewis,
Clandeboye. Special Music is
provided by choir members
during July and August, Sunday,
Miss Doris Schwartz and Mrs,
Charles Browning sang.
Mrs, N. C. Motley has moved
into a Chalk apartment on Main
Street,
Mr, &Mrs, 'Walter Deskoch and
boys, Edmonton, Alberta, are
guests of Mr. St Mrs. Walter
