McLean, Teeswater, Mr, 4 Mrs. Robert Aitken of Florida, Mr. 4 Mrs. Fred Dobbs Sr„ Fxeter and Mr. & Mrs. Wm Hill, Strathroy, attended the closing exercises of Miss Matthews School, London, a reception followed at St. Paul's Cathedral. During the program Freddie Dobbs received the junior division swimming award from the London YM-YWCA. A dinner party followed at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Dobbs Jr. PERSONALS Brenda and Ian Carroll spent Sunday with Mr, & Mrs, Art Abbott and family. Several relatives and friends from this community attended the bridal shower for Janice Abbott, bride elect of June 19, at the Lucan United Church, Wednesday evening. Mr. & Mrs, Bob Tindall were recent guests with Mr, & Mrs, Allan Tindall, Wiarton. Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Davis, Heather and Michael and Jim Hoffman and Mr. & Mrs. Heber Davis were Friday evening guests with Mr. & Mrs, Bob Tindall. Mrs, Rick Taylor, Sarnia assisted by Mrs, Mac Kechnie were hostesses recently for a linen shoWer for Cheryl Dyer. Mrs. Harry Carroll and Mrs. Ron Carroll attended. Mr. & Mrs. Heber Davis were Thursday guests with Mr. & Mrs. Cleve Pullman and in the evening they visited Mr, & Mrs. Jack Kirkham, Mitchell. Sunday, the Davis' were guests of Mr. & Mrs. Earl Atkinson, Lucan, and at- tended service at Holy Trinity Church.
