The June meeting of the United
Church Women was held Thur-
sday evening with Mrs. Ken
Duncan as hostess,
Mrs. Mac Hodgert was in
charge of the program. Mrs. Glen
Stewart opened the meeting with
the call to worship. She read the
scripture and Mrs. Stewart gave
the meditation. Mrs. Ross Cottle
led in prayer.
Mrs. Stewart read, Outside the
Spectrum and Nancy Alexander
gave her speech, Canadian
Indians.
Mrs. Hodgert introduced Mrs.
Rokeby-Thomas, Kirkton who
gave an interesting talk on
Eskimos. Mrs. Ross Hodgert
thanked the speaker and
presented her with a gift. Nancy
Alexander played a piano solo.
Mrs. Floyd Stewart, president,
took charge of the business. Final
plans were made for the
Strawberry Supper, June 21.
Group III, under the leadership
of Mrs. Lorne Passmore and Mrs.
Archie Etherington, served
refreshments.

in prayer.
`Ten Rules for Living' were
given by Mrs. Pat Skinner.

visited with Mrs. Weber's
mother, Mrs. Frank Taylor, also
Mr. & Mrs. John Ovens, Clan-
