years. Peter recently graduated
from Royal Military College

Rev. Francis Moyer was, guest
speaker at Elimville and Thames
Road churches Sunday while
Rev. Stewart Miner was the
minister for anniversary service
at Moore Line church, and were
guests later with Mr. & Mrs.
David Milliken.

Easton, Sunday.

Sunday the junior choir under
the direction of Mrs. Clarence
Hardy lead the singing of the folk
hymns. The Qu'Appelle liturgy
was used and the flowers in the
chancel were placed in memory
of Mrs. Mabel Ashworth, by her
family. Children of the Sunday
School attended the service.
Sunday Holy Communion will
be celebrated. The League of
Loyalty will meet during the
service. The nursery meets at
11:00 a.m, for pre-school
children.
June 9, the West Middlesex
Deanery Anglican Church
Women will meet in Holy Trinity
Church beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Board of Management meets
Tuesday in Carlisle Hall.

The evening unit of Lucan
United Church Women met at the
church Tuesday with 10 members
present, and Mrs. Ed, Melanson
in the chair in place of Mrs.
Frances Seward,
Mrs. W, C. Tupling led the
worship service, assisted by Mrs.
J. W. Lockyer. Mrs, Tupling also
took a chapter of the study book
and led a discussion.
It was reported that Mrs. Alec
Young was still on the sick list as
was Mrs. L. 0, Nichol who had
broken het arm.
The printing of the birthday
calendar will have to be post-
poned for another year as bir-
thdates are coming in too slowly.
The unit will not have a pot-
luck supper this year owing to So
many other engagements,
Lunch was served by Mrs.
Tupling and Mrs, Lockyer. Mrs.
A, E. Reilly arid Mrs, Melanson
will take the program at the next
meeting,
At Lucan United Church, the
Rev. W. C. Tupling chose for the
title of his Sermon, A Church on
Fire, last Sunday, it being
Pentecost Sunday,
Next Sunday will be Flower
Sunday when the Church School,
Youth, and Junior choirs will
participate.
