spent a couple of days last week
with his mother, Mrs. F. C.
Shoebottom and his father in the
hospital in Parry Sound. On the
way up they visited with their son
Dan in Lindsay. Mary
Shoebottom accompanied her
parents to Parry Sound and spent
the remainder of the week with
her grandmother, returning
home Sunday.
Mr, & Mrs. R. H. Woodhouse of
London were Sunday visitors
with Mr. & Mrs. Cooper
McCurdy.
Mrs. S. Molnar visited last
week with Mr. & Mrs. Stephen
Molnar and family in Agincourt.
She returned home Saturday
accompanied by her son who
remained overnight.
Mrs. W. R. Essery, Robbie and
Ruth Ann visited last week with
her sister, Miss Arlene
Newcombe in Drayton Plains,
Michigan.
Mrs. Lorne Hicks was a Sunday
visitor with her brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs, Orme
Pollock in Kincardine.
Mr. & Mrs. Russell Schroeder
returned home on Sunday after
visiting for a month with their
daughter, Mrs. M, Baldwin in San
Bernardino, California.
Mrs. Chas. Spendiff of Strat-
ford was a visitor this week with
Mr. & Mrs. Fred Bowden,
Mr. & Mrs. Sherman Eaton and
Danny of Chatham were weekend
visitors with Mr, & Mrs. John
Thompson.

The fifth meeting of Elimville
No. III Stylish Stitcher's was held
Mar. 22 at the home of Mrs.
Wayne Prance.
The girls were shown how to
make a reinforcement seam.
They also had their outfits ready
for fitting.
The sixth meeting was held
March 24 at the home of Mrs. Dan
Coward. The girls learned how to
put in an invisible zipper and a
lap zipper. They also learned how
to make a waistband.
The seventh meeting was held
March 29 at the home of Mrs.
Wayne Prance when the girls
learned how to make a tailor hem
and a slipstitch hem.
Mr. & Mrs. Sanford Hutton and
Diane visited Sunday with Mr. &
Mrs. John Hutton, Listowel.
