Elimville United Church,
decorated with lavender daisies
and fern was the setting for a
candlelight wedding service that
united Marilyn Jo-Ann Johns and
Gary Arthur Eagleson in
marriage, March 20, 1971.
Parents of the couple are Mr.
and Mrs. William Allen Johns,
RR 3, Exeter, and Mr. and Mrs.
Lloyd Eagleson, Exeter.
Rev. Stewart Miner officiated,
while Mrs. Philip Johns supplied
the wedding music and ac-
companied Mrs. Lorne Hern, the
soloist.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride chose a gown of
lagoda, styled with stand up
collar and empire waistline and
trimmed with bands of Guipure
lace, A cathedral train fell from
the waist and a Jiuliet cap caught
a silk illusion two-tiered veil. The
bridal bouquet was of white
daisies and pink and white rose
buds.
Shirley Rowe, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor, and
Lorene Mellin and Dianne Stone
were the other attendants.
They all wore gowns of pelican
pink crepe and carried Sheathes
of lilac daisies with ivy.
The best man was Ron Weber,
and Eric Wolfe and Frank
Eagleson ushered the guests.
After a wedding reception at
the church parlors the bride
donned a smart navy pant suit
with red accessories for a wed-
ding trip to Niagara Falls.
Mr. and Mrs. E'agleSori will
reside in Chatham.
Prior to the wedding the bride
was honored with several
showers. These were hosted by
Mrs. Lorne Hem, Mrs, Bob
Ilainather, Dianne Stone and
Lorene Main, Barbara Marshall
of Chatham, and the community
of tlliroville.

this year.

popular accessories for pant
suits.
Chokers or dog collars are
shown in bands of velvet and
pastel suede with cameo and
butterfly ornaments.
There are attractive costume
flower rings, designed with clear
