IRVIN RADER DASHWOOD March 16 was Mr, & Mrs. Art Haugh's 50th wedding an- niversary but it didn't look like much celebrating as Mr. Haugh is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital where he is slowly recovering following surgery. However the nurses staged a party for them. They gathered and sang Happy Anniversary and served refreshments. The couple were married in Dashwood and have two sons, Glen, Solana Beach, California, Robert, Exeter; and one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Jean) Hartman, London, In the afternoon friends and relatives called and at night the family was present. EUCHRE PARTY The final euchre was held March 16 with 14 tables. Prizes were awarded to; most lone hands, Mrs. Ken McCrae; high ladies, Mrs. John Rader; men's, Elgin. Rader; low, Mrs. Hilda Wein and Bill Blackwell. FRED BOVVDEN CINITRALIA Mr. & Mrs. John Thompson were in Listowel for a few days owing to the death of Mr. Thompson's father, the late J. S. Thompson. The funeral was Tuesday of last week.
