Park Despite cold and blustery weather, more than 225 persons attending the annual carniyal presented by the Huron Park Figure Skating club last Wednesday were given an opportunity to have a sneak preview of spring. All 60 members of the skating club participated in the exciting show entitled "Spring Has Sprung". Appearing on ice were rain drops, thunder and lightning, shower girls, apple blossoms, shamrocks, clowns and animals of all kinds. Doing solo numbers were Peter Catlos, Annecke Somann, Tracy Campbell and five year-old Kellie Roberts dressed as a monkey. Also featured as solb skaters were assistant professional Pauline Bell and senior coach Troyann Bell. Mrs. Edith Bell is the club,professional. The president of the Huron Park figure skating club is Mrs. Alice Beek. Mrs. Gerry Van Hees is secretary and Mrs. Les Roberts is badge secretary. The ice director is Mrs. Ed Godin and other directors are Mrs. Peter Catlos, Mrs. Gert Somann and Mrs. William Wilson. The show was sanctioned by the Canadian Figure Skating Association and Frank Funston was master of ceremonies.
