Saturday January 16 will go
down in the annals of Branch
540's history as one of her finest
hours. The Memorial Hall was
filled to capacity as 19 new

comprising of Provincial

McDonald, Brantford, Deputy
District "A" Commander
Comrade Brown, Chatham, Zone
A5 Commander Tom Healy,
Strathroy, Deputy Zone A5
Commander Wm. Smith, Lucan
and District A Corn. Bing Forbes,

Following the ceremony the
Provincial President addressed
the meeting and advised that
much to the amazement of other
Service and Veteran
organizations the Royal Canadian
Legion continues to grow with
over 300,000 members in
Canada, 100,000 of whom are in
Ontario.
He attributed our continued
growth to a versitile program for
the veteran and our community
efforts. Comrade Provincial
President, on behalf of
Command, made special
