PAWN CLAW:4E804 E The monthly meeting of St. James Church was held in the home of Mm. Alan Hill last Thursday, After the opening player, Bible study and minutes airs. Rae Hodgins and Mrs. Nancy St. Pierre read poems about grandmothers to-day and yesterday. The election of officers followed: Mrs. Arnold Lewis, president; Mrs. Roy Cunningham, vice president; Mrs. Steve St. Pierre, 2nd vice president; Mrs. Karl O'Neil, secretary; Mrs. Cecil Carter, treasurer; Mrs. Almer Henrie, Dorcas secretary, and Mrs. Rae Hodgins, social service convener. Sunday Rev. Carson preached on the Second Coming. He said the old testament prophecies speak of the two comings as if they were one event. In the new testament the prophecies told of Christ's sufferings and his glorification. Mr. Carson said if we read and understand our Bibles then we'd know that Christ is coming again and we'd be ready to meet Him. He said children do not learn about the Bible at school or in the home; the only place they hear the Bible is at Church. crier's jIrior.ist 37 Aim xeter uneral !reigns ;11'fittest eeldingArrangements ?iAg cAppointment Plant 235-2603 !Mgrentli Pesigner opened the meeting by reading a poem and Mrs. Wm Blewett conducted the worship.
