Bullock and John Michael Glavin
at Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Church, with Rev. J.G. Mooney
officiating, and Paul Dietrich
providing the wedding music.

The parents of the young
couple are Mr. & Mrs. Wm. T.
Bullock, R.R. 3, Parkhill, and
Mr. & Mrs. John G. Glavin, R.R.
2, Lucan.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a floor
length gown of Chantilly lace
over satin which featured lily
point sleeves and accents of seed
pearls. A chapel train of lace fell
softly from the back, and a
shoulder length veil was held by
a petal headpiece trimmed with
seed pearls. She carried an
orchid surrounded by pink
carnations.
The bridal attendants were
Eleanor Weigand, Ruth
Kingsbury and Maureen Glavin.
They were gowned in mauve
crepe dresses with overblouses of
purple lace. Their flowers were
nosegays of pink and white
carnations, and they wore pink
carnations in their hair.
James Glavin was best man,
while Gerald Glavin and Barry
Bullock ushered the guests.
After a reception at Crediton
Community Centre, the couple
left on a wedding trip to Niagara
Falls, the bride wearing a red

at late autumn weddings

MARRIED AT CR EDITON — Nancy Elizabeth England, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs-Jacques England, Crediton, was married to William D.
Finkbeiner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Finkbeiner, RR 2
Dashwood, at Zion United Church by Rev. Douglas Warren. They
were attended by Katherine Eberhardt, Shirley Pfaff, Robert
Finkbeiner and Robert England. The newlyweds reside at RR 2
Dashwood.

FORMER EXETER GIRL MARRIES—Marlene Myrtle DesJardine,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murton DesJardine, formerly of Exeter and
now of Bruce Township, was married to John Herman Koppel] of
Bruce Township at Shilen United Brethren Church. Bridal attendants
were Bonnie Mason, Sharron Berndt, Edith Janyce and Cindy
DesJardine. Judy Mason was the soloist. The groom was attended by
Kenneth Roppel, Bruce Roppel and Alan DesJardine. Page boys
were Thomas Roppel and Darrell DesJardine and Jimmie John
DesJardine was ring bearer. The couple now resides at RR 2
Tiverton.

Witnesses in Exeter was the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's
scene of a wedding of interest,
November 28th, 1970, when
marriage vows were exchanged
between Lloydon W.L. Stewart
of Grand Bend, formerly of
Usborne Township, and
Margaret Ann Scheib of
Toronto. The officiating
minister was Mr. Allan G.
Bradshaw.
The bride was given in
marriage by her father, John
Scheib, and her attendants were
Cheryl Falconer and her sister,
Debra Scheib. The groom was
attended by Mr. John Rand and
11 the bride's brother Robert
Scheib.
Following the wedding, to supper was served at the
Dashwood Community Centre,
and an evening of music was
enjoyed by more than 300
friends and relatives who joined
in extending their
congratulations and good wishes
to the happy couple.
Mr. & Mrs. Stewart will make
their home in Stratford. tt
