held at S.H.D.H.S. December 12,
Miss Ruth Skinner gave the
hospital report and a donation
was given to the Institution for
the Blind, The Canners meeting
and luncheon was held at
Elimville hall November 18,
served by the Elimville Women's
Institute.
Mrs. Allen chaired the
program. She read the poem,
Flanders Fields and silent prayers
was observed for soldiers who
served during the wars.
The motto, 'Tile mind is like a
plant, it has to be well fed to
flourish' was given by Miss Ruth
Skinner.
Mrs. Philip Johns favored with
an accordion selection.
Murray Neil of Exeter was
guest speaker and showed
pictures of their trip to Hawaii
and the other islands.
Mrs. Ratz of Stratford was
guest demonstrator who showed
her crafts of ceramics and
displayed many articles she had
made.
A penny sale was held and
lunch was served by Mrs. Tom
Hem, Mrs, F. Skinner, Mrs. H.
Delbridge, Mrs. Jud Dykeman
and Mrs. Russell Morley.

NOMINATION MEETING
A meeting of the Electors of
the Township of Tuckersmith
will be held in the Huron Cen-
tennial School, Brucefield on
Monday, November 23, 1970 for
the purpose of nominating can-
didates for the offices of Reeve,
Deputy Reeve, and three Coun-
cillors for Tuckersmith for the
years 1971 and 1972.
ALSO, a meeting of the Elec-
tors for the combined area of
Tuckersmith, Stanley, Bayfield
and Seaforth will be held at
the same time for the purpose
of nominating Candidates for
one position on the Huron and
Perth Counties Combined Ro-
man Catholic Separate School
Board for the years 1971 and
1972
Nominations will be received
from the hour of 7:30 o'clock
to 8:30 o'clock in the evening.
TAKE NOTICE THAT a Rate-
payers' Meeting will follow im-
mediately the closing of nomi-
nations.
In the event of more candi-
dates being nominated than are
required to fill the positions,
an election will be held on
Monday, December 7th, 1970.
Polls will be open from 10:00
a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
