Mrs. William Hodge and Lawrence Hill are patients at St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Mr. & Mrs. John Wade, accompanied by Russell Clark have returned from a motor trip to Carlyle, Saskatchewan. The Wades' son John is secretary-manager of a lake resort area at Carlyle and they have bought a cottage on the lake. There were five inches of snow in Carlyle the morning they left for home. Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Becker were in Lambeth Sunday to celebrate their wedding Last Wednesday evening Crediton's Cub Pack enjoyed a Halloween party in the township office rooms, with Mrs. Bill Johnson and Mrs. Walter Fydenchuk in charge. Winners of costume prizes were: lady, Raymond Snell; Ma and Pa, Dale and Brian Dinney; old man, Paul Wein. Thursday afternoon was Halloween party time for the Explorers in Zion United Church. Mrs. Walter Fydenchuk and Mrs. Earl Lippert directed the program and Mrs. Fydenchuk explained the purpose of the UNICEF collection. Weekend guests of Mrs. Chris Dinney were Mr. & Mrs. Don Winter and family, Toronto; Mr. & Mrs. Jim Taylor and family, Huron Park; Mr. & Mrs. William Wareing and Doug, Exeter. Members of the King St. community well system used a dynamite blast Saturday to increase the flow of water into the well. Senior citizens The Senior Citizens met Tuesday night in the Legion Hall for an evening enjoyed by all. Cecil Skinner led the singing with Mrs. Leeda Sorensen,at the piano. Tom Brew was master of ceremonies. The entertainment was provided by Tommy Walker, Mrs. Margaret McLeod, Mrs. Joan Keys, Lorne Johnstone, Gordon Smith, and Hank Green. Refreshments were served by the Legion Auxiliary. Committee for the December meeting is Mr. and Mrs. Ed Chambers, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Greenlee, Mr. and Mrs. W. Rodd, Mrs. Leeda Sorensen, Mrs. L. Fraser. home of Mrs. Hicks, Sunday afternoon. Mr. & Mrs. Armand Bedour and family of Goderich were Sunday visitors with Mrs. V. Overholt. anniversary with a goose dinner at the home of Mrs. Becker's sister, Mr. & Mrs. K. V. Thomas. The Thomas' daughter and Mrs. Rita Hamather, London, who had been Mrs. Becker's bridesmaid, were present for the occasion.
