and installing team motored to
Clinton and enjoyed .a banquet at
St. Andrew's Presbyterian.

Clinton Huronic Lodge. They
attended the meeting and
installation of the new officers of
Huronic Lodge, Clinton in the
lodge room.

Bouwman, sister of the groom,
chose an empire styled gown of
orange chiffon over taffeta with
wide sleeves and wore small
orange chiffon flowers in her hair.
Brenda Miller was flower girl
for her sister. She wore a white
chiffon over taffeta dress
trimmed with an orange
waistband and styled like that of
the maid of honor. In her hair she
wore an orange band. Both
carried bouquets of rust mums
and tinted carnations.
Charles Bouwman was best
man for his brother and Lorne
Miller, brother of the bride
ushered the guests.
Following a reception at the
Melody Restaurant, the couple
left on a trip to Northern Ontario.
Mr. and Mrs. Bouwman are
residing in London.

Mums and roses formed the
setting in St. Boniface Church,
Zurich, when Father A. Durand
heard the wedding vows of Rose
Marie Grenier and Richard Lloyd
Rader in a double ring ceremony.
The bride is the oldest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Alphonse Grenier, Dashwood and
Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Rader are the
parents of the groom, also of
Dashwood.
Mrs. Steve Meidinger
contributed the wedding music
and accompanied Mrs. Bob
Hoffman, the soloist.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride was charming in a
floor-length empire styled gown
of fortrell. A fortrell train was
lined with nylon tulle and the
illusion veil was held on by a
sequined crown. She carried a
white Bible on which was placed a
white orchid and satin streamers.
Catherine Grenier was her
sister's maid of honor and she
chose a peacock blue French
velvet gown with empire
waistline. Carole and Joanne
Grenier, also sisters of the bride,
Donna Bishop, a cousin, and
Heather Rader, the groom's
cousin, were attired the same as
the maid of honor and all carried
one long stemmed red rose.
Kenneth Rader was best man
for his brother and Glen Rader,
Harvey Adams and Gerard
Grenier ushered the guests.
Robert McGregor, the bride's
cousin, was ring bearer.
After the wedding reception
which was held in the Dashwood
Community Centre, the bride
changed to a beige coloured
ensemble with brown accessories
and left with her husband for a
honeymoon to Niagara Falls.
On their return the young
couple will reside in Goderich
where the bride is an employee at
Woolworth's of Canada and the
groom is employed at Conklin
Lumber.

and DDP Annie Sanders of
Atwood were welcomed by the
Noble Grand and presented with
corsages.
Visitors from Atwood,
Goderich, London, Thamesford,
Dorchester and Guelph attended.
These included the mother of
DDP Lois McFalls, Mrs. Hodgins
of London and a former Noble
Grand, Alice Bowen, of Guelph.
Bobby McDonald and Brenda
Neil were winners of the prizes
donated by the Lodge at the
Exeter Fall Fair. At the SHDHS
Exeter, November 9 there will be
a turkey banquet and meeting
honouring Mrs. Audrey Miller,
president of Rebekah Assembly
of Ontario.
The Commission of Mrs.
Annie Sanders, DDP of Atwood
was received, DDP Sanders and
her installing team then installed
the incoming officers for 1970-71
in a very impressive ceremony:

friends in Exeter over the

Candelabra and autumn
flowers decorated Exeter United
Church, October 10, when Rev.
Glen Wright preformed the
double ring ceremony uniting in
marriage Lynda Jean Westcott
and Duncan Stuart Giles.
Lynda is the daughter of Mr. &
Mrs. Allan Westcott Exeter and
Duncan is the son of Mr. & Mrs.
Ross Giles Stouffv ille.
Robert Cameron presided at
the organ and accompanied Mrs.
Robert Hoffman who sang.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore an elegant floor
length gown of candlelight peau
de soie with long sleeves and a
bodice of french lace encrusted
with seed pearls. A full length veil
was held by a juliette cap of
matching lace and seed pearls.
She carried a sheath of calla lilies
with ivory velvet ribbons.
The matron of honor, Mrs,
Tom Floor, and bridesmaids, Mrs.
Jim Russell, Mrs. Donald Cann,
Mrs. Richard Cook and junior
bridesmaid, Lisa Westcott, were
gowned alike in floor length
orange Tahiti taffeta gowns with
scooped necklines and pleating
on the sleeves and hemlines. They
carried nosegays of orange,
brown and yellow straw flowers
with brown velvet ribbons. They
also wore chokers of brown velvet
with cameos.
Roger Mole was best man, and
ushers were Eric Button, Tom
Flood,Dr.Eylmer Uzans and Bill
Giles.
The reception was held at the
Exeter Curling Club, then to the
bride's home where she changed
to a beige suit with chocolate
brown accessories.
Following a trip to Europe
Lynda and Duncan will reside in
Toronto.

London was decorated with
baskets of white mums and
gladioli, flanked by candelabra;
for the double ring ceremony of
Elaine Miller and Hank
Bouwman, October 10, 1970.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Miller,
Dashwood, and the groom's
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Gerard
Bouwman of London.
Rev. H. Bickel performed the
ceremony and the wedding music
was provided by the church
organist.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride was lovely in an
empire styled gown of silk sheer
over taffeta, featuring a lace
bodice and lace lily point sleeves.
The chapel train was enhanced at
the back with sheer rosettes. Her
four-tiered elbow length veil of
nylon tulle was held ,l)y a silk
floral jewelled rose. She carried a
bouquet of sweetheart roses and
white carnations.
