At the 11:00 a.m. service Miss Norma Westgate, R,N., who is a Public Health Nurse in London, and a former resident of Exeter, gave the address. Her message was based on the Lord's question to Moses, "What is that in thine hand?" Miss Westgate directed this question to the congregation, with the suggestion that it could be a drying cloth at the kitchen sink, a telephone, a tool being used for repair purposes, a pen to write a letter, or even the hand of your very own baby. We may all work for God's glory and as his witnesses by using for Him the simple things in our hand to further his work and to help those around us. St. Luke is the patron saint of doctors and nurses, and Laity Sunday is the day when the Laity conduct the services in the Church. The Bible lessons were read by Joe Wooden and Allan Elston. Under the joint leadership of Mrs. 0. Zivkovic and Mrs. Peter Connon the Junior Choir sang the anthem, A Thanksgiving Hymn; by Eric Thiman, with David Elston at the organ. The service was in charge of The money the other fellow has is capital; extracting it from him is labor. MENS LINED P.6539-Lambskin, soft, supple, pure silk lined. Black, brown. F.O. Value $9.00.
