Wayne's been in town for only a few short weeks, but he has had extensive
experience in the lumber and building products business. He moved to
Exeter from Owen Sound. His wife, Nancy, and he are proud parents of a
son and daughter, Steven and Andrea.
Wayne is backed up by six very capable people at Conklin's Exeter branch:
BILL WEIGAND — born and raised in Exeter. He's been with Conklin's for
the past 6 years. His wife, Doris, teaches at Exeter Public School.
PETE RAVELLE — came to Exeter from Grand Bend. He's been with
Conklin's for 7 years. He and his wife, Arlene, have 3 children, Lori, Mark
and Darla. Pete plays ball for the Dashwood Tigers.

Brinsley native passes away.

Ernest Amos, 44, son of the
late Mr. and. Mrs, Linwood Amos
passed away suddenly,
September 25.
He attended Brinsley School
and Brinsley United Church in
his youth prior to moving to
London 20 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, two
daughters and two sons, and
nine brothers and sisters, Mrs.
Gordon Rock, Mrs. Stanley
Grabows10,. and Owen all of
London, Mrs. Jack Rosser, Mrs.
John Schofield, Grant and
Joseph of McGillivray Township,
John of Wanstead and Norman
of Kirkton,
The funeral. was held.
September 27 from the T,
Stephenson and Son Funeral
Home, Ailsa Craig with the Rev.
Cummings of London
officiating, Interment was in
Mars Hill Cemetery.
RALLY DAY
Rally Day service was held at
Brinsley United Church, Sunday
with superintendent, Gordon
Morley, leading. He was assisted
by Carol Robinson giving the
story and by Linda Fenton
reading the scriptures, and giving
the pastoral prayer,
The Sunday School choir
provided the anthems with Carol
Robinson as accompanist on the
organ.

`Fair share'
Six area people were winners
in several draws held in
conjunction with the Exeter Fall
Fair.
In the annual draw sponsored
by the Fair Board, Miss Wilma
Coates of London was the
recipient of a quarter of beef,
Kenneth Coates won a half of
dressed pork, a dressed lamb
went to Ron Caldwell, Howard
Hendrick, R. R. 2 Crediton gets a
dressed turkey and Craig
Sylvester of Grand Bend won a
dressed rabbitt.
Mrs. Keith Coates, R. R. 1,
Centralia was the winner of $50
in cash in a draw sponsored by
the CPT committee of the
Oddfellows and Rebekahs.
