Staffa No. 1 4-H Homemaking
Club, Working with Wool, was
held at the home of the assistant.

Roll Call was answered by
everyone showing samples of
fabrics and naming them.
Mrs. Butson discussed
choosing a pattern and the girls
took each others measurements.
Mrs. Jeffery discussed
choosing fabrics and why to line a
skirt. Judy Jeffery discussed
pressing and the equipment
needed.
Meeting III was held at the
borne of Mrs. S. Jeffery,
September 7. Everyone answered
the roll call by telling why they
chose the style of their skirt and
the name of the weave of their
fabric. Mrs. Jeffery discussed
altering.
Rae Butson demonstrated
using tracing wheel and paper.

hold first meeting
The third meeting of the
Kippen Health Seekers was held
September 10, at the home of
Joane Van Wieren. The design for
the record book was decided.
Mrs. McLean showed how to
knit and spoke on care of the
eyes, skin, teeth and ears.

4-H girls meet
at Winchelsea
The first meeting of Elimville
No. III Club, was held Monday
evening at the home of Mrs.
Wayne Prance, Winchelsea. It
opened with the 4-H pledge,
followed by the election of
officers: president, Joan Lynn;
press reporter, Diane Hutton.
Topic for the evening was
Keeping Mentally Fit.
Mr. & Mrs. Sanford Hutton and
Dianne, visited recently with Mrs.
Pearl Roney, Stratford.
