Everyone answered the roll call by telling why they chose the style of their skirt and the name of the weave of their fabric. Mrs. Jeffery discussed altering. Julie Ann Elliott is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Health Seekers hold first meeting The third meeting of the Kippen Health Seekers was held September 10, at the home of Joane Van Wieren. The design for the record book was decided. Mrs. McLean showed how to knit and spoke on care of the eyes, skin, teeth and ears. Mr. & Mrs. Bert Faber, Mr. Rochus Faber, Mr. & Mrs. Cornelius Faber of Exeter recently returned home from a pleasant month's vacation visiting relatives in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta and motoring as far as Lake Louise. It opened with the 4-H pledge, followed by the election of officers: president, Joan Lynn; press reporter, Diane Hutton. Topic for the evening was Keeping Mentally Fit. Mr. & Mrs. Sanford Hutton and Dianne, visited recently with Mrs. Pearl Roney, Stratford. Terry O'Brien R.N.A., daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Gerald O'Brien has been successful in passing her examinations and has accepted a position in a Sarnia -Hospital.
