Three buildings comprising the Victoria Park Apartments owned by Eldticl -Simmons located in the south-west corner of town, house a total of eighteen apartments. Each of the three 4.u-iidin#s contain five two-bedroOrn apartments and one single bedroom apartment. Construction on the first unit started May 1, 1968 and the third building was completed exactly two years later with full occupancy at the present time. One of the features of the project is ample off-street parking. Each building has ample Parking off-street with a large parking lot at the rear of all three buildings. Each apartment is heated by an individual electric heating unit, Simmons says he tried to blend the apartments in with the existing housing in the immediate area, He added, "All services are underground including wiring and we are happy with the sewage system." The grounds are well landscaped with a sand box for the youngsters. TWO steel sheds are provided for garbage storage allowing the garbage truck to make quick and efficient pick-ups. Each of the two-bedroom apartments has 900 square feet of floor space with thee one-bedroom units containing 800 square feet. The kitchens are 13 feet by 12 feet with 21 feet of cupboards and 17 feet of counter top. The bedrooms are 12 by 11 feet and the living rooms are 13 feet by 17 feet. IRVIN RADER DASH WOOD Mrs. Carl Oestricher, 48, the former Glenna Wolfe passed away at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Tuesday, July 28, 1970. She had been in ill health for some time. , Mrs. Oestricher had been active in the U.C.W. of Calvary United Church and Dashwood W.I. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Dean and Myron at home; her mother, Mrs. Lavina Wolfe, Clifford; two brothers, Gerald of Palmerston and Sheldon of Clifford, The body is resting at the T. Harry Hoffman Funeral Home where the service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. C.B. Carr of Clifford will officiate and interment will be in the Crediton Cemetery. ATTEND CONFERENCE Harry Hoffman has returned home after attending the 59th Gideon convention in Vancouver. Delegates were present from India, United States and various parts of the world. He visited with Mrs. Wm. Wein and her daughter, and went to Banff and attended the Calgary Stampede. At Johnson's Canyon he was surprised to meet the Elgin Hendrick family. He joined them for the trip home. PERSONALS Mr. & Mrs. Leonard Schenk were pleasantly surprised when their tamely entertained them on their 25th wedding anniversary. By MRS. G. Thomson of Exeter attended the funeral of the late Alex Wells of Blyth, Sunday. Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Jones and Donna were Sunday guests of Rev. & Mrs. J. Lindsay of Trenton, Mrs. Lottie Jones returned with them after spending a few days with the Lindsays. Mr. & Ivtrs. Don Carter and Mr. & Mrs. Hdrold Carter attended the Moffatt-Hodgson wedding at Centralia, Saturday. Mr. & Mrs. Ken Langford spent a few days at Collingwood, Sudbury, North Bay and Wasaga Beach. Those attending were Mr. & Mrs. Jack Schenk,Karen, Marylou and Marjorie; Mr. & Mrs. Delmar Miller and Christopher and Mr. & Mrs. Tom Desjardine. Rev. Earl Steinman conducted a worship serviceat the Bluewater Rest Home, July 26, assisted by the senior choir. Following the service they returned to the home of Mr. & Mrs. Ray Van Dorsselaer for a barbecue supper. Mrs. Jim White was a guest at the Crowe-Graham wedding at Wooler, Ontario. She also visited with relatives at Trenton. Carl, Larry, Louise and Debbie White spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. William Veitch and Uncle Lyle of Ailsa Craig, camping at Shady Pines Kampground at Nairn. Vacationers with Mrs. Cora Gaiser were Rev. and Mrs. Bruce Seebach and family of Hamilton and Mr. & Mrs. Jim Poland, Lois and Tommy of Camp bellford. Mr. & Mrs. Ross Love attended the Ferguson reunion, Sunday, at Blackstock. Jayne Hayter has returned home after vacationing with her aunt and uncle, Mr. & Mrs. John Snider of Brantford.
