Albert Steeper, Mrs. Ed.
Chambers, Eli Brown, Andrew
Dougall, Lorne Johnston, Mrs.
Russell Schroeder and Mrs.
Harold Penhale.

presented Mrs. Jennie Lawson
with a silver coffee mug for being

Safety tips
One of the unavoidable
problems of summer driving is the
dombination of the windshield
K meeting insects. During the
daylight hours the spattered
windshield is not really
bothersome, but when driving at
night, the headlights of
on-coming cars are even more
glaring as the particles reflect the
blinding light with more
intensity. The Ontario Motor
League reminds all motorists to
keep their windshields clean at all
times for improved visibility.
* * *
Slow moving tractors and
other farm vehicles are added
driving hazards during spring and
14 summer months. The Ontario
Motor League reminds motorists
that the safest way to pass a
tractor is to reduce your speed,
trail along behind it until you see
adequate clearance ahead, then
pass.
