guest of honour at a
miscellaneous shower in the
schoolroom of the United
Church, Friday evening.
Decorations in a color scheme
of yellow and white made an
at tractive setting for the
occasion.
Taking part on the program
• were Marikay Hodgins who
favoured with a piano solo; a
reading by Margaret Haist and a
piano duet by Patti and Mary Lou
Tasko. The address was read by
Mrs. Ross McFalls.
Mrs. John Thomas and Joanne

Centre Friday evening to honor
Mr. & Mrs. Jim Dietrich, who
were recently married.
Progressive euchre was played

The 19th annual Morenz
reunion was held at Brodhagen
Community Centre Sunday with
50 in attendance. President Ross
Kahle welcomed everyone.

The lucky winners of the two
quilts made by the Ladies' Guild
of St. Mary's Church, Brinsley,
were Miss Laura McKenzie of
Nairn and Mrs. Bill McIntosh of
Lucan.
Brian Trevithick and Gordon
Morley attended the picnic • at
Strathroy, Sunday along with
three thousand people to
welcome Prime Minister Trudeau.
Brinsley United Church is
holding its annual picnic at
Lieury Park, June 28. In case of
rain it will be held on the church
grounds.

Mitchell; farthest distance, Henry

After a smorgasbord supper a
short business meeting followed
and it was decided to, hold the
reunion in Mitchell next year.
