Dashwood WI was in charge of
the June birthday party at the
Bluewater Rest Home. Social
group I was in charge of the
program while group II had the
lunch. The program consisted of
solos, duets, and group singing by
children and the junior choir of
Zion Lutheran church followed
by a skit, The Preacher's Mistake.
Sunday, June 28, will be
Children's Day Musical at Calvary
United church. Accordion and
organ music will precede a
program by the junior choir of
duets, solos, guitar and accordion
selections. Attendence pins will
be presented to scholars.
INFANT BAPTIZED
Kimberly Annmarie, infant
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Hoffman was baptized in Calvary
United church Sunday, by Rev.
Bruce Guy. Sponsors were Mr.
and Mrs.Jack Kraft of Exeter.
MARTINE REUNION
The eighth Martine reunion
was held June 21 at the
Dashwood Community Centre
with 70 present. The afternoon

of their uncle, Sam Miller,
Thursday. Mrs. Martha Miller
returned home with them to Port
Dover and returned home again
Monday.
Mr. & Mrs. Earl Stumpf of
Kitchener spent a weeks holiday
with Mr. & Mrs. Albert Miller and
other relatives.
Home is the heart's haven. It is a
sheltering roof, but more than
that. Ideally, it is the place where
the family unit dwells together in
mutual protection, sacrifice, and
love, sharing with each other the
tangible and intangible needs of
life, to the betterment of all and
to the growth of each individual
in human society.
