cool things
about a
frostsfree
refrigerator
freezer.
Every housewife should have one.
Frost never forms. Not in the big
refrigerator section. Not in the big
freezer section. So there's no
defrosting. Ever. And you know
what that means.
No more dripping water to mop up.
No more waiting for frost to melt.
Your ice cube trays won't stick
any more. No more re-freezing
frozen foods.
You'll have more storage space,
because you'll be free of all
frost accumulation.
And your frozen foods won't
stick together.
Think about it.
Think of all the extra space you'll
have for stocking up on food bargains.
And besides all that, think how
much more attractive your kitchen
will look with a sleek new
frost-free refrigerator freezer.
NOW is the time to buy.

are interested in God. Perhaps it's.
because They feel a closeness to
nature."
He said 70 is the usual
percentage of campers attending
Church services, Since there was

camp the Catholics attended mass
at lOcal churches.
The Protestant service was

LADIES' LOG SAWING CONTEST HAD MANY SPECTATORS
Family affair
from Niles, Michigan, to attend
with his wife and family.
He continued, "'They are also
more thoughtful, and more
sensitive in their concern for
others."
Asked on what he based
this statement, he replied, "Our
society is built on competition.
When you are in the thick of it
every day, there is no way you
can think about others."
. He pointed out the custom of
whole families visiting other
families has practically
disappeared.
Weekend camping takes the
place of this tradition.
"It's like a three day picnic
where rat-race competition is
forgotten, barriers come down,
people relax and begin to talk to
and understand each other."
Not only do campers have the
opportunity to meet and
exchange ideas with many
different people, they also get to
know and understand their own
families.
One city man said, "I had to'go
away for a weekend to be able to
talk to my children. I realized I
had never really known them
before . . that sold me on
camping."
Like most of the others, he
said it's a rare weekend his family
are not off camping somewhere.
"I really miss it . .. if for some
reason we are not able to get
away."
"It's a family affair."
That was the usual answer
when the participants at the
camp-out were asked why they
enjoyed this activity.
Everyone is included from a
ten day old baby, in one case, to
grandma and grandpa.
"Most people take their
children camping . . . but I took
my Mom and Dad and introduced
them to a whole new way of life.
Now, they have their own trailer
and have a whale of a time," said
one of the enthusiasts.
Another mother said her
children toe the line all week
because they are told, "If you
don't behave, we won't take you
with us next week-end!"
Every imaginable type of
accommodation was set up.
Ten persons slept and ate in a
converted bus.
The lady of the bus said she
and her husband had their own
five children with them "but
when you've got teenagers and
you want them to come with you,
you must bring boyfriends and
girlfriends along too."
It all seemed like great fun.
One attractive lady confessed,
"I want to camp, but I don't want
to rough it."
And she didn't have to!
Her trailer, like many others,
was equipped to the gunwales,
with latest gadgets including a
pint-size pink bath tub with hot
and cold running water.
But, for others, tenting is the
only way to go.
Chaplain Bennett said, "There
are families here whose income is
probably $50,000.00 who would
disdain using anything but a tent,
while others who make one tenth
of that own $15,000.00 trailers.
"We are a castless
community," he went on,
"People are accepted for what
they are and not for what they've
got. All nationalities and ages
enjoy camping."
Mr. Bennett was questioned
about the church attendance of
campers.
casually dressed in shorts and
open shirts and carrying their
lawn chairs. They tools, part in
lively hymn sing and listened
.attentively to a sermon on
Temptation.
Afterwards Chaplain Bennett
watched them pick up their chairs
and chat with friends on their
way out.
"These people really care," he
said fondly, "They care about
things that matter . . like
pollution, for instance. You.
know, it's really important to
them that they leave this park as
clean as they found
