A dollar still goes a long way.
A dollar may buy a lot less these
days—but it doesn't buy less Volkswagen.
We still stamp the famous beetle
shape out of a heavier gauge metal than
even most big cars use,
And our paint job is still the envy of
the industry. 28 pounds worth. 4 coats.
1 out of every 8 VW employees is
an inspector. They inspect every part of
every Volkswagen 3 times. And then give
the finished bug a going over cars cost-
ing twice as much don't get.
How much do you hove to pay for
all this?
Only $1979,*
And right away you can start saving
money. Because a Volkswagen will never
cost you more for upkeep than you can
keep up with.
Which is only right.
After all, if you're buying a small
car to fight inflation, we think
you should buy one that won't
fight back,

Burning Rectal Itch
Relieved In Minutes
Exclusive Healing Substance
Relieves Pain As It
Shrinks Hemorrhoids.
If you want satisfactory relief from
'Itching Piles'—here's good news.
A renowned research laboratory has
found a unique healing substance
that promptly relieves the burning
itch and pain—actually shrinks
hemorrhoids. This substance has
been shown to produce a most effec-
tive rate of healing. Its g6rm-killing
properties also help prevent
infection.
In case after case "very striking
improvement" was noted, even
among cases of long standing. And
this nnprovement was maintained
over a period of months!
This was accomplished by a new.
healing substance (Rio-Dyne)—
which quickly helps heal injured
cells and stimulate growth of new
tissue. Now Bio-Dyne is offered in
ointment and suppository form
called Preparation "I U'. Ask for it
at all drug stores—satisfaction or
money refunded.
